Just Some Flickr Peeves
1. Posting something and then saying “Will be deleted later” in the description. What is the logic behind that, really?
1.1 Said picture staying up. So…was its deletion dependent on whether or not people were going to comment on it? Subtle attention whoring, could it be?
2. Posting a picture and then saying “Oh, this is crap, the editing/PP is a fail”. Perhaps you didn’t have enough time to work on it and if that’s the case: upload it at a later time. Perhaps your editing skills truly suck and rather than admitting straight out that you’re a Photoshop idiot, you just went ahead to imply that oh, it’s just this one picture.
3. Damn flowers. No, I don’t hate flowers.
4. Mass uploads of the same picture. Must one really upload pictures from the same location with a slight change in the angle or the pose or the expression in one go?
5. Blatant copying. I’ve said this numerous times: I’m no idea nazi. If you find a nice picture and want to recreate it or draw inspiration from it, then go the fuck ahead. But it’s one thing to take someone else’s idea and make it your own and another thing to take the idea and do the same exact thing. Fucking be creative; you already took the concept, must you copy the composition, the same body position, the same rotation or angle? Change some of the elements. And fucking give credit if it’s such a blatant recreation.
